Wildlife Nest Box Installation and Monitoring
Fauna Works installs artificial nest boxes, particularly in urban and rural areas; providing shelter and nesting sites for Australian bats, birds, bees and arboreal animals. Fauna Works offers monitoring of nest boxes which can be crucial to their success, whether they are being used in research or being installed as part of a species management plan.
Monitoring of nest boxes, breeding sites and roost sites can be undertaken by Fauna Works staff in addition to reporting systems that meet the requirements of local and state government.

Our Products
Wildlife Radio Telemetry
Radio telemetry is a tool used to research wild animal species in the field. As a result we gain a thorough understanding of that population and its dynamics as well as identify any potential threats to its survival. This information can then be used to formulate management plans for the long-term conservation of that species.
Our Team produces baseline data like daily movements, wildlife behaviour, home range size and use.
Wildlife Camera Monitoring
Wildlife camera monitoring is a tool used to research wild animal species during habitat enhancement projects. Strategically placed wireless cameras in nest boxes, wildlife rope crossing, wildlife culverts, gliders poles allow us to gain a thorough understanding of that population, allowing us to adapt to an artificial environment.
This information can then be used to formulate management plans for the long-term conservation of that species.
